What you are paying for, and how we prove it.
Is your gold certified?
Yes. Every piece is stamped with its karat and sold with a Mazimo certificate of purity. Weight and karat are verified in front of you at handover and printed on the invoice.
What do 18K, 21K and 22K mean?
How much of the metal is pure gold: 18K is 75%, 21K is 87.5% and 22K is 91.6%. The rest is alloy that hardens the gold and sets its colour. Our guide to gold karats explains which suits what.
How do I check that my piece is genuine?
Your invoice is also its certificate and carries a tracking code, such as MZM-X7K9-P4D2. Enter it on the verify page to see the piece, its metal, weight and date of sale.
How is the price calculated?
Gold weight multiplied by the live Dubai rate for that karat, plus a stated making charge and 5% VAT. Online prices are indicative; we confirm the live figure before payment. Today's rate is on the gold rate page.
Why do prices change from day to day?
Because the gold rate does. It follows the world gold price through the day from Monday to Friday and holds at the Friday close over the weekend. The weight and the making charge of a piece do not change.
Can I trade in old gold?
Yes. Bring gold from any jeweller; it is tested and weighed in front of you and credited at the prevailing rate against your new piece.
Delivery & returns

Do you deliver outside Dubai?
We deliver across the UAE with insured courier within one to two working days, complimentary on every order. International shipping is available on request. Details are on the delivery page.
Can I collect my order from the boutique?
Yes. Collect from Al Manal Center, Deira, during opening hours (Mon–Thu, Sat 10:00–22:00 · Fri 15:00–22:00 · Sun 10:00–22:30); we weigh and certify the piece with you before you leave. Reserve online and tell us you will collect.
How can I pay?
By card online at checkout, or reserve the piece and pay on delivery or at the boutique.
Can I return or exchange a piece?
Unworn pieces in their original packaging can be exchanged within 48 hours of delivery. Bespoke and resized pieces are made to order and are final sale. See returns and repairs.
Can you send a piece as a gift?
Yes. Every order leaves in the black Mazimo box with its gold ribbon and a certificate of purity, and we add a handwritten card on request. See the Mazimo Gift.
Care & resizing
Gold lasts; we keep it looking new.
Do you resize rings and bangles?
The first resizing is complimentary on Mazimo pieces. Later adjustments and repairs are charged at cost. Find your size with the ring size guide.
What does the lifetime warranty cover?
The craftsmanship of every Mazimo piece, for as long as you own it. The warranty page sets out what is included and how to claim.
Do you repair jewellery bought elsewhere?
Yes. Our goldsmiths repair Mazimo and non-Mazimo pieces at the boutique; we quote before any work starts.
How do I care for my gold?
Wipe with a soft cloth after wearing, keep pieces apart in the box, and bring them in once a year for a complimentary clean and polish. More in the jewellery care guide.

Do you make custom jewellery?
We do. Book a consultation, share a reference or sketch, and we will design, preview and cast your piece in 18K, 21K or 22K gold. See our services.
Can you engrave a piece?
Rings are hand engraved at the boutique with an initial, a date or a short line, and we show you the layout before any mark is made. For other pieces, message us with what you have in mind.

Do I need an appointment?
No, walk in any day. If you would like a private viewing or a bespoke consultation, book an appointment and we will have the pieces ready.
