About round diamond rings

A round brilliant is as wide as it is long, so one measurement gives its size.
Sizes
The centre diamonds measure from about 6.4 × 6.4 mm to about 8.1 × 8 mm, the longer side first. Across a UAE size 52 finger (about 16.55 mm across), the short side of the stone covers 39 to 49 percent; a stone set sideways covers its longer side. A ring's own page lists its centre stone and every side stone.
