The piece
The engagement ring most people picture, drawn a little finer: a large oval in four claws, and a band that carries fourteen round diamonds across the top of the finger.

The stone
At 2 ct the oval is about 10 mm long. The claws are slim and rounded so they disappear into the sparkle.

Seven diamonds a side, each 1.8 mm, set close in a shared-prong row. The underside stays plain, so the ring is comfortable and easy to clean.

Either: tell us which you prefer when you ask for the price. The centre stone is oval, 1.95 ct, about 10.02 × 7.11 mm. A grading report accompanies the centre stone where applicable, and the gold is hallmarked 750 (18K) with a Mazimo certificate of purity.
