The piece
A halo does two things: it makes the centre stone look larger, and it adds a ring of fire around it. Here a 1 ct oval sits inside 22 small diamonds, and the band carries 18 more.

The stone
The oval is about 8.3 by 5.7 mm; with the halo the head measures close to 11 mm across, the presence of a much heavier stone.

Nine diamonds a side, 1.4 mm each, set in a row that stops before the underside, so the ring can be resized.

Either: tell us which you prefer when you ask for the price. The centre stone is oval, 1.04 ct, about 8.26 × 5.72 mm. A grading report accompanies the centre stone where applicable, and the gold is hallmarked 750 (18K) with a Mazimo certificate of purity.
