## About this piece

An oval diamond held in four claws, with a hidden halo of small round diamonds set beneath it and larger round diamonds pavé set along the band on each side of the setting. Seen from the side, the halo shows as a row of small diamonds under the oval.

### The stones

The centre diamond is an oval, about 13.97 by 9.78 mm, and weighs 5.5 ct. Beneath it are 28 round diamonds of about 1.00 mm, forming the hidden halo, 0.1 ct together. Along the band are 14 round diamonds of about 1.80 mm, pavé set, 0.4 ct together. In all the ring carries 43 diamonds, 6 ct.

### The band

The band is polished. The 14 pavé diamonds are set along it, seven on each side of the setting, and the lower part of the band is plain. Four claws hold the oval above the band and curve down to meet it, with the hidden halo set beneath the oval. The inside is engraved MAZIMO; your own engraving goes beside it.
