## About this piece

One emerald-cut diamond sits across the top of the ring, set sideways so its long side runs across the finger. On either side the band is cut into sharp pyramid facets that catch the light in flat planes. It reads as a clear stone framed by cut metal, and the diamond stays the centre of attention.

### The stones

The diamond is an emerald cut of about 7.8 by 5.5 mm and weighs 1.5 ct. It is the only stone in the ring, held in four claws, one at each corner.

### The band

A broad polished band, flat and smooth under the stone, with the shoulders on each side cut into sharp pyramid facets. The inside is engraved MAZIMO; your own engraving goes beside it.
